Metatorbernite with Quartz Margabal Mine, Entraygues-sur-Truyère, Aveyron, Midi-Pyrénées, France 3.88cm x 3.23cm x 2.13cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of metatorbernite from France!!! This specimem consists of a quartz matrix that hosts a dense cluster of bright green "books" of metatorbernite crystals in association with a few tiny quartz points!!! The metatorbernite crystals have a slightly pearlescent luster and are in fantastic condition!!! As is common with these Margabal torbernites, this specimen has been stabilized to prevent the crystals from decomposing!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
