Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of this rare silver-bearing species from Nevada!!! This specimen consists of a complete, undamaged floater crystal of miargyrite!!! The crystal exhibits a highly complex habit with several smaller crystals in association!!! This amazing crystal measures an impressive 1cm!!! While proustite and pyrargyrite are the commonly known "ruby silver" species, there is a third and much rarer "ruby silver" species - miargryrite!!! This is an incredible example of the species and retains an old, circa 1950's Scott J. Williams label as well!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
