Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare silver-bearing species from California!!! This specimen hosts a group of complex crystals of miargyrite in addition to a rich vein of massive miargyrite!!! The largest crystal measures 3.75mm!!! While proustite and pyrargyrite are what one thinks of when one thinks of the "ruby silver" species, however there is a third, and much rarer species - miargyrite!!! Upon close inspection one can see the red highlights within the miargyrite in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!!
