Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific example of smoky quartz with amazonite from New Hampshire!!! This specimen consist of a handsome cluster of
sharp, lustrous, light greenish blue amazonite crystals with gemmy smoky quartz crystals and lustrous albite crystals!!!
The amazonite crytals have better color than the pics show - with marked light greenish blue color throughout!!! The crystals have an
animal-pattern like network of translucent areas within them and it is these translucent areas that show the richest bluish color as well!!!
The amazonite crystals are sharp and lustrous as well!!! The smoky quartz crystals are glassy, gemmy, and have fine smoky color!!! What appears to be
a crack in the main crystal is actually a natural feature that is a sharply defined crystalline modification!!!
