Microcline pseudomorph after Parisite Mount Malosa, Zomba District, Malawi 5.5cm x 3.88cm x 3.74cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of microcline after parisite from Malawi!!! This specimen hosts a large single crystal of parisite that has been completely replaced by microcline!!! There are also a few larger microcline crystals in association (in person some significant translucence can be seen in areas on these crystals)!!! The pseudomorph exhibits a pronounced hexagonal form with a tapering termination!!! The sharpness of the pseudomorph is also much more apparent and defined in person!!! A rare and unusual pseudomorph indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
