Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of mimetite from this rare Mexican locality!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of both botryoidal and complexly crystalline mimetite!!! The mimetite crystals range in color from deep orange to white!!! There are also blackish colored patches that host some micro crystals of what appears to be descloizite!!! The crystals consists of botryoidal groups and complex, rounded hexagonal prisms!!! The mimetite has sparkling luster and marked translucence!!! Rare, old time material!!!
