Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific combination of mimetite, willemite, and malachite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of colorless to slightly bluish
willemite crystals that hosts numerous sprays of straw-yellow mimetite crystals and a rich distribution of
isolated malachite crystals!!! The willemite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and gemmy!!! The mimetite crystals consist of tight sprays of
slightly divergent prismatic crystals as well as scattered isolated crystals!!! The malachite crystals are present as isolated bright green botryoids paired with
somewhat weathered looking, subhedral forms (curious about the identity of these crystals, we placed one in some acid and were surprised to see the
malachite fizz away to reveal cuprite underneath, which subsequently dissolved to reveal actual native copper)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! A
very handsome combination indeed!!!
