Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of mimetite from this classic Mexican locale!!! This specimen consists of showy cluster of mimetite crystals on limonitic matrix!!! The mimetite crystals are present both as single crystals and as showy sprays of complex crystals!!! The mimetite crystals are highly lustrous and have an attractive two-tone quality, with the terminations having well defined areas of lighter coloration and marked translucence!!! This classic Mexican beauty is quite showy in person!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Bob Jenkins and retains his original personal collection label as well!!!
