Mimetite Stalactite with Duftite Tsumeb, Namibia 10.26cm x 2.51cm x 2.2cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An outstanding, and unique example of mimetite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a unique and showy example of mimetite with a light "dusting" of green duftite crystals!!! The mimetite crystals are present as intergrown balls of crystals that form a long and dramatic "stalactite"!!! Upon close examination one can see a few areas where the prism faces of the mimetite crystals are exposed with the terminations of the crystal being dramatically splayed out in a rounded, bow-tie-like formation!!! With a loupe or scope one can see that the duftite crystals are well formed as well!!! This specimen is complete and in magnificent condition!!! This specimen has been mounted on an acrylic base for display but could easily be removed if so desired!!! It was difficult to capture this one in the pics, however it is a very impressive and unique example of mimetite from Tsumeb indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
