Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of mimetite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of mimetite that exhibits particularly bright yellow color!!! The mimetite crystals are present as sprays of intergrown prismatic crystals that border on botryoidal in areas!!! The crystals have marked translucence and luster as well!!! The intense yellow color is quite striking and very unusual for the locality!!! The back side of the specimen is almost covered with mimetite that is partially intergrown with darkly colored material!!! Upon some close inspection one can see some tiny, green crystals of duftite in association throughout the specimen as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains an original collection label as well!!!
