An absolutely incredible, and rare, old time example of mimetite from Iran!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic network of
complex pale yellow to orange mimetite crystals!!! The specimen is comprised almost entirely of mimetite present as both nearly botryoidal crystals and
large, sharp tabular crystals as well!!! This is a significant old time specimen and a rare locality piece as well!!! The pics don't even come
close to doing it justice!!! This specimen retains its old Sorbonne Museum label as well (and although it describes the piece as mimetite and vanadinite, it is
almost certainly just mimetite)!!!
