Description/Interesting Notes:
A stunning example of minium from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of a very rich showing of bright red-orange minium after cerussite in association with numerous
lustrous anglesite crystals and darkly colored
crystals of plattnerite!!! The minium has outrageous color and comprises a significant portion of the specimen!!! The
minium is a pseudomorph after cerussite and one can see numerous crystalline features left behind by the
cerussite throughout the specimen!!! The anglesite crystals are present as highly complex colorless crystals that are quite striking upon
close inspection!!! The plattnerite is also quite well crystallized, consisting of spikey, darkly colored crystals scattered amongst the smartly contrasting anglesite crystals!!!
This specimen is simply incredible in person!!! INCREDIBLE COLOR!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J. Beres!!!
