Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of ferrimolybdite and molybdenite from South Dakota!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of silvery metallic molybdenite with massive yellow ferrimolybdite in association with quartz matrix!!! This specimen retains an old "personal collection" label from noted mineral dealer George L. English!!! The label is written in English's hand and dates to the early 1900's!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
