A rare, old time example of monazite from Norway!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single crystal of monazite!!!
The crystal has razor-sharp features and displays quite handsomely!!! The crystal is in terrific condition and appears to be
affixed to another partial crystal (visible as the black, lustrous material on the reverse)!!! This specimen is from the A.E.
Seaman Mineral Museum and originally came from the L.L. Hubbard Collection (1849-1933)!!! This specimen retains its original
affixed catalogue number!!!
Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
