Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this very rare platinum & palladium bearing species from Montana!! This specimen hosts a particularly rich showing of moncheite in characteristic matrix!!! The specimen has been cut and polished on one side to allow for proper viewing and analysis of the sample!!! The specimen shows a thick, substantial metallic mass that runs the thickness of the specimen!!! This is a very significant specimen for the locality!!! The moncheite is almost certainly present in concert with other rare PGM species as well!!! This is a confirmed specimen and retains an old label from Forest Cureton as well!!!
