Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of beryl var. morganite from Connecticut!!! This specimen consists of a large, terminated, hexagonal crystal of pink morganite in association with pale bluish cleavlandite!!! The morganite crystal is quite well formed for the locale!!! The crystal has sharply defined faces and marked luster!!! The crystal has rich pink color and areas of significant clarity as well!!! The crystal is sharply terminated and displays fantastically!!! The combination with pale bluish cleavlandite is quite handsome in person!!! Simply an outstanding example of the species for the locality!!! Classic old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
