Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic, old time example of morganite from California!!! Let me start off by saying that
this specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex morganite crystal in
association with some whitish blades of cleavlandite, muscovite, and some almost fibrous indicolite tourmaline!!! The
crystal is very well formed and is largely complete!!! There are numerous highly complex areas where the crystal
was in contact with blades of cleavlandite interupted by sharp, glassy crystal faces!!! The crystal has
classic pink color and hosts a large area of facet-grade gem morganite within (the large majority of the crystal, when
viewed from the one incomplete edge, can be seen to be gem quality!)!!!
This specimen displays gorgeously in person with dynamic play of light and lustrous crystal faces!!!
Classic old time material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY APRIL 11th!!!
