Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of mottramite from Tsumeb!!! Usually one only sees Tsumeb mottramite specimens as botryoidal material or
otherwise massive, amorphous forms - significantly sized, sharply formed crystals are quite rare indeed!!! This specimen hosts a handsome
grouping of very well formed CRYSTALS of impressive size for the species!!! This specimen consists of
two prominent florettes of darkly colored, intergrown crystals of mottramite!!! The mottramite crystals have sharply defined
features and impressive size - ranging up to over 5mm!!! The crystals have marked luster that shows significant iridescent highlights!!! There is a
small amount of calcite in association and one can see a zone of lime-green mottramite on the bottom of the specimen!!! The
pics hardly capture just how fine and significant this mottramite specimen is!!! An exceptional example of the species indeed!!!
