Description/Interesting Notes: An unusual example of mottramite replacing fluorite from New Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a single octahedral crystal of fluorite that exhibits a significant alteration to mottramite!!! Upon close inspection the mottramite appears to be intimately associated with the fluorite, not just a superficial coating!!! A very unusual specimen indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
