Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of this sought after gold-bearing species from the type locality in Romania!!! This specimen consists of a dense network of juxtaposed blades of nagyagite in intimate association with light pink crystals of rhodochrosite!!! The exposed crystals of nagyagite are broad and lustrous!!! There are two broad faces covered with nagyagite and an area that shows a dense criss-crossing of nagyagite crystals with rhodochrosite!!! Simply a fantastic example of this prized rarity!!! These old time type locality nagyagite specimens date to the mid 1800's!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
