Natrolite with Ancylite, Polylithionite, & Aegirine Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Monteregie, Quebec, Canada 9.3cm x 5.8cm x 3.6cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A wonderful, aesthetic combination specimen from Mont St-Hilaire!!! This specimen consists of a group of conjoined "balls" of natrolite crystals that host a rich showing of light pink ancyllite crystals in association with scattered crystals of polylithionite and aegirine!!! The natrolite crystals are present as a showy arc of four conjoined balls of radiating translucent crystals!!! The addition of a significant showing of pinkish ancyllite makes for a decidedly aesthetic Mont St-Hilaire combo indeed!!! Upon close inspection one can see that the ancyllite crystals are quite well formed and there are a number of polylithionite crystals to be seen scattered about!!! The ancyllite also shows DRAMATIC color change between incandescent light and full-spectrum fluorescent (and sunlight) - changing from the pinkish color you see in the pictures to a yellow or slightly greenish yellow!!! Also, under UV the natrolite crystals fluoresce green or yellow (SW or LW) with their tips showing greater intensity!!! Simply a fantastic specimen all around!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
