Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of neptunite from California!!! This specimen consists of a striking pair of intersecting neptunite crystals that exhibit sharp and pronounced twinning!!! The crystals have glassy luster and exhibit handsome, dark reddish-brown color!!! The crystals have highly complex terminal faces with almost fibrous features yet with oriented groups of individual crystal faces!!! This specimen is mounted on an acrylic base for display (yet could be removed if so desired)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
