Nickeline with Baryte Eisleben, Mansfeld Basin, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany 5.23cm x 3.87cm x 2.15cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of nickeline from this classic German locality!!! This specimen consists of a rich mass of metallic nickeline crystals in association with baryite!!! Examples of crystalline nickeline are quite rare and this specimen is very well crystallized for the species!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that this specimen is loaded with complex, euhedral metallic crystals!!! One can see that there are some botryoidal forms that appear to have possibly been replaced with crystalline nickeline as well!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen retains an old label as well!!! Simply a fantastic example of crystallized nickeline from this historic German locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
