Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare borate from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, lustrous, gem crystal of nifontovite!!! The crystal exhibits sharp, complexly modified faces and gem clarity throughout!!! This specimen is from a small find of exceptional nifontovite crystals that was made a couple years ago!!! Until this recent find there was only one signficant gem crystal of this species known - and it was in the Smithsonian!!! The crystal is overall in terrific condition and displays quite handsomely in person!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
