Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of orthoclase from Yonkers!!! This specimen consists of a broad, highly lustrous crystal of orthoclase!!! This classic old time specimen retains old labels from the Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!! The Sunshine Acres School label notes that it had previously been acquired from "Webb"!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Classic material!!!
