Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of gem orthoclase from Madagascar!!! This specimen exhibits stunning gemminess and lively golden yellow color!!! In many cases, these rare gem orthoclase crystals from Itrongay are very poorly formed, however this specimen has well defined faces and bright glassy luster!!! This specimen has superb gem clarity and could easily yield a flawless cut stone of significant size (although it would be a shame to cut such a specimen)!!! This specimen has a gorgeous fire and internal brilliance in person - The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
