Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of papagoite and ajoite from the type locality in Arizona!!! Both papagoite and ajoite are rarely encountered as well formed crystals - this specimen hosts a broad face that is nearly covered with microcrystalline papagoite with areas of sharp, lustrous, eye visible crystals in association with numerous sprays of turquoise colored ajoite crystals!!! This specimen is way better than the pics show!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope there is a lot more crytsallization and sharp detail than the pics show!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
