Parisite pseudomorph after Bastnäsite Tor Ghar, Mulla Ghori, Khyber Agency, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Pakistan 1.43cm x 1.04cm x 1cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of parisite replacing bastnaesite from Pakistan!!! This specimen came from Dudley Blauwet and consists of a single floater crystal of bastnaesite that has been replaced by parisite!!! The crystal has rich red-orange-brown color and marked translucence!!! The crystal faces are more defined and complete than they appear in the photos!!! In person, one can see that there are several darkly colored needle-like inclusions within the crystal as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
