Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of pectolite from this classic New Jersey locale!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of lustrous, light green datolite crystals that hosts several clusters of pristine, free standing, gem clear crystals of pectolite!!! The crystals exhibit glassy luster and have sharp terminations!!! The crystals are dramatic and impressive in person, however this specimen was difficult to capture in the pics!!! The green color of the datolite is a more attractive mint green than the pics show as well!!! This is a very impressive example of the species for the locality indeed!!! the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
