Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare selenide from the type locale in Bolivia!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of dark, metallic penroseite in association with some reddish-brown ahlfeldite!!! The penrosite shows brilliant cleavage faces, some of which are arranaged in radiating groups!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see minute, subhedral crystals of reddish brown ahlfeldite scattered about the specimen as well!!! Simply a fantastic example of this rare species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
