Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely stunning example of petrified wood from Arizona!!! This specimen consists of a large, complete log section!!! The specimen is thick, intensely colored and has bark all the way around!!! This specimen has lots of intense red color, in combination with a wide variety of colors - orange, yellow, tan, brown, gray, with graduating hues, dramatic blacks and whites, and a dazzling array of patterns, shapes, and features!!! This specimen is WAY, WAY, better than the pics show!!! We acquired this specimen in the Peppis collection and it dates to the earlier part of the 1900's!!!
