Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare example of petzite and sylvanite from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts numerous areas of rare petzite and sylvanite
richly scattered throughout the matrix!!! The petzite is present as significant masses of dark gray metallic material and the
sylvanite is present as bright, silvery metallic crystals!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or scope one
can see some minute, complex features including some subhedral petzite crystals and unidentfied species!!! Rare old time material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
