A fantastic example of this rare gold and silver bearing telluride from Canada!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing
of brilliantly metallic petzite on, and included throughout, a dolomite crystal matrix!!! The dolomite hosts brilliant "plates" of
petzite on its cleavage faces as well as rich metallic veins oriented parallel to cleavage planes!!! The petzite is
very rich and showy all over the specimen!!! The petzite has a somewhat dark silver color with brilliant metallic luster!!! There is
also some golden colored chalcopyrite in association as well!!! This is a very rich and particularly showy example of this
rare and precious species!!! This specimen came from old material that came from the A.E. Seaman
Museum - the material had not been catalogued but was noted as coming from the German mineralogist B. Klose!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
