Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of pharmacosiderite from this historic locality!!! Let me start off by saying that this specimen has dramatic, deep blue-GREEN color in person!!! Like scorodite, some pharmacosiderite specimens show up a drastically different color in the photos - this specimen is a deep blue-GREEN color in person, not just blue as it appears in the pictures!!! In person the color is a characteristic and unique deep blue green unlike anything else I can think of!!! This specimen is covered with significant, complex crystals of lustrous pharmacosiderite!!! The pharmacosiderite crystals exhibit a complexly modified cubic habit and has marked clarity and intense color!!! This is rare, OLD time material, dating to the latter half of the 19th century!!!
