Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of phenakite from this rare Canadian locality!!! This specimen consists of a group of parallel quartz crystals that serve as a matrix for a group of bright, gemmy crystals of phenakite!!! The phenakite crystals are sharp, undamaged, glassy, and gemmy!!! The crystals range in size to 3.5mm!!! These Mt. Foster phenakite specimens are extremely scarce indeed!!! This specimen retains an institutional label as well as an old dealer label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
