Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this rare and colorful species from Arizona!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of intense red phoenicochroite distributed
across its broad face!!! The front of the specimen is loaded with crystalline material - phoenicochroite, hemihedrite, vaugeulinite, wickenbergite, cerussite
(with thin layers of well crystallized, water-clear cerussite hosting many of these intensely colored species as inclusions), and several other unidentified species!!!
This is a killer rare species combo and is simply incredible in person and under close examination!!! Nearly every color of the
rainbow is represented on this specimen!!! The reverse is intenseley colorful as well!!! There are crystals of phoenicochroite, orange hemihedrite, dark green
vauquelinite, colorless submillimeter wickenbergite, and many other unidentified species as well!!! There is SO much going on with this specimen that I have
seen something new ever time I have looked at it!!! This specimen came from the personal collection of well-known Arizona collector Evan Jones!!!
The pics don't even come close to doing this incredible specimen justice!!!
