Description/Interesting Notes:
phosphosiderite crystal measures nearly 5mm
A fantastic example of phosphosiderite and wicksite from this classic locale!!! This speicmen hosts a pristine, gemmy
crystal of deep reddish pink phosphosiderite in association with dark greenish microcrystals of wicksite on a vuggy matrix
of darkly colored barbosalite!!! In addition to the main phosphosiderite crystal there are several other smaller crystals
tucked among the darkly colored crystals of barbosalite!!! The vugs are lined with
sharply crystallized barbosalite that hosts a rich showing of dark greenish wicksite scattered about!!!
The phosphosiderite crystal has razor-sharp faces, gemmy clarity, bright glassy luster, and striking color!!! Upon
close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see numerous sharp, modification faces and features of twinning as well!!! One
can also see some actual crystals of wicksite as well!!! There are possibly some other species in association as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection
of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection
of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
