Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of plumbogummite from the type locality!!! This specimen consists of a rich
mass of tan colored plumbogummite in association with a few lightly colored, translucent crystals of
pyromorphite!!! The plumbogummite shows characteristic botryoidal features with marked luster and
slight translucence!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope there are some interesting features
to be seen including some areas of microcrystalline material!!! Old time examples of
plumbogummite from the type locality are rarely seen on todays market!!! This specimen
came from the Sorbonne Museum in France and retains a small, affixed label as well!!! Old material!!!
