Pollucite Hebron, Oxford Co., Maine 1.37cm x .87cm x .54cm Ex. Lazard Cahn (1865-1940)

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex crystal of GEM pollucite!!! This specimen has highly complex, slightly etched features with glassy luster and water-clear gem clarity!!! The specimen is complete and pristine all around!!! In person it is quite dynamic and looks like a piece of Lalique glass!!! This is a magnificent example of the species for the locality!!! This specimen came from an old group of specimens that oridingally came from Lazard Cahn (a copy of the original Cahn label will be provided) however this was the only specimen that had this unique aesthetic (the others were very finely etched like lace) and was the finest one in my opinion!!!
