Pollucite Hebron, Oxford Co., Maine 1.94cm x 1.52cm x 1.27cm Ex. Lazard Cahn (1865-1940)

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex, etched crystal of GEM pollucite!!! This specimen has highly complex etched features with glassy luster and water-clear gem clarity!!! In person it is quite dynamic and looks like a piece of crystalline lace!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope the complex fillagree of three dimensional crystalline forms is quite striking indeed!!! This is a magnificent example of the species for the locality!!! This specimen came from an old group of specimens that oridingally came from Lazard Cahn (a copy of the original Cahn label will be provided)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
