Polybasite with Acanthite, Native Silver, Pyrite, Calcite, and Quartz Chispas Mine, Arizpe, Mun. de Arizpe, Sonora, Mexico 2.8cm x 2cm x 1.3cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of polybasite, acanthite, and native silver from this historic Mexican locale!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of crystalline calcite and quartz points that hosts a thin, complex crystal of polybasite intergrown with a complex acanthite crystal (possibly pseudomorphic?) perched atop!!! There is a tangle of native silver wires growing from the acanthite as well!!! There are also complex crystals of pyrite present, as well as numerous tiny wires of native silver, acanthite crystals, and more scattered about the specimen as well!!! Unique old time material!!!
