Description/Interesting Notes: An amazing, old time example of this rare silver-bearing species from Mexico!!! This is a KILLER old time example of polybasite indeed!!! This specimen consists of a SHARP group of large, undamaged polybasite crystals with BRIGHT metallic luster!!! This specimen is thick, and complete all around!!! The crystals are accented by a light sprinkling of brassy golden chalcopyrite crystals which is quite handsome in person!!! The polybasite is much more sharp and brilliant than it appears in the pics (the chalcopyrite crystals and metallic luster made it difficult to capture in the photos)!!! This specimen retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum as well!!! Make no mistake - this specimen is a KILLER!!!
