Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of polybasite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a complex cluster of intergrown crystals of polybasite accented by golden microcrystals of pyrite!!! The polybasite crystals have gun-metal gray color and metallic luster!!! This specimen came from the Frank J. Tobey II collection and retains its original label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
