A terrific example of rare cuprian powellite on brochantite from Chile!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of
deep green brochantite crystals that hosts numerous yellow-green crystals of
cuprian powellite!!! The cuprian powellite crystals are sharp, complex habits with lustrous faces and gemmy clarity!!!
Upon close inspection one can see that the brochantite crystals are stout and quite well formed as well!!! The
cuprian powellite crystals also show marked yellow fluorescence under SW UV!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
