Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely gorgeous example of prehnite from Morocco!!! This specimen consists of a striking, 5.5cm ball of
prehnite crystals aesthetically perched on a cluster of brilliantly lustrous quartz crystals!!! The prehnite "ball" is comprised of
particularly large, chunky crystals with sharply defined faces and marked luster!!! The prehnite has handsome, lively green color
that is way better than the pics show!!! When viewed on the reverse, one can see that the the individual crystals are quite long as well -
stretching all the way to the center!!! The crystals have marked translucence and, on the reverse one can see a zone of yellowish coloration
as well!!! The prehnite is further accented by tiny balls of dark green chlorite scattered across its surface!!! In addition, there
are also numerous small sprays of dark olive green epidote crystals present on the reverse as well!!! The quartz crystals are
highly lustrous and gemmy!!! The quartz crystals have some highly complex features and modifications and are quite showy in person!!!
This specimen is absolutely gorgeous in person!!! Truly an impressive prehnite!!! This
specimen retains an old Forrest Cureton label as well!!!
