Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and showy example of prehnite from Connecticut!!! This striking specimen literally looks like a group of intergrown, translucent pearls!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown "spheres" of prehnite crystals that exhibit a pale yellow-green color and an unusual, slightly pearlescent internal sheen!!! This specimen came out of an old collection and we were amazed when we first saw it!!! This specimen is simply stunning in person!!! A very unique prehnite indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
