Prehnite with Native Copper Osceola Mine, Osceola, Houghton Co., Michigan 7.15cm x 5.3cm x 3.37cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of prehnite with native copper from Michigan!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of light green prehnite crystals that hosts numerous included and partially exposed crystals of native copper!!! The prehnite is quite well crystallized with many of the crystals showing sharp, lustrous, significant crystal faces!!! The numerous exposed masses of native copper have bright metallic luster and, upon close inspection, one can see that there are some small euhedral crystals of native copper!!! There is some minor, microcrystals of darker green epidote present as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
