The crystal has sharp, brilliantly lustrous faces with fantastic gemmy clarity and CHOICE ruby red color!!! This is perhaps one of the finest single examples of proustite from Peru that I have ever seen!!! This specimen has a screaming ruby red color even in dim lighting!!! The brilliant glassy luster and gemmy clarity makes for a very fiery gem indeed!!! The crystal is complete all around with sharp, glassy faces!!! The crystal is quite thick & robust and displays magnificently all the way around!!! This is an extraordinary example of proustite for the locality!!!
