Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of proustite from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of massive, deep ruby red proustite intergrown with sphalerite, galena, and minor amounts of pyrite!!! The proustite has showy red color and areas of marked translucence!!! This is OLD material!!! This specimen retains a museum label and has an affixed catalogue number as well!!!
