This specimen consists of a two "balls" of dolomite crystals that host a very rich showing of deep ruby red proustite crystals!!! Let me start by saying that this specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and is very showy and dynamic in person!!! The proustite crystals are sharp, glassy, and have fantastic rich red color that ranges from deep red to bright ruby red!!! The crystals show translucent to gemmy clarity and stand out in aesthetic fashion against the lightly colored dolomite matrix!!! The overall form of the specimen, along with the fine quality and richness of the proustite crystals makes for a striking specimen indeed!!! This specimen retains labels from the collections of J.
